Jaipur : Jaipur Railway Station and half a dozen railway stations of the state have received bomb threats. Hanumangarh Station Superintendent has received a threatening letter. After the threat, there was a stir in the police department including the railway administration. Vigilance is being maintained regarding security at all railway stations including Jaipur Junction. According to the information, Hanumangarh Railway Station Superintendent has received a threatening letter through post. In the letter, a threat has been given to bomb 8 railway stations including Jaipur on October 30. Bomb threats have been issued to Jodhpur, Bikaner, Alwar, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Bundi and Udaipur City railway stations including Jaipur.
Increased security at railway stations
Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, Captain Shashi Kiran said that GRP is investigating the threatening letter. Security was increased at railway stations by the Railway Protection Force. Vigilance is being taken regarding security at Jaipur Junction also. However, no suspicious object has been found anywhere yet.
Blast threat at religious places in Jaipur too
Apart from this, blast threats have also been received at religious places in the capital Jaipur. Threats have been made to bomb some railway stations in Rajasthan as well as in Madhya Pradesh. The threatening letter has been written in the name of Jaish-e-Mohammed area commander Salim Ansari, which has been sent by post to Hanumangarh station superintendent.
