Churu : It is always believed that a person can earn a good salary by becoming a doctor or engineer, but a boy from Churu district of Rajasthan decided to do farming instead of studying medicine. He is now earning crores of rupees every year.
Parents got him enrolled in coaching to prepare for medical exams
We are talking about Sandeep Chaudhary, a resident of a small village Dhadhar in Churu district of Rajasthan. After passing the 12th examination, Sandeep’s family left him in coaching to prepare for medical. After passing the exam, he got admission in a college and started studying medicine.
The son left his studies midway and started farming these crops
But in the meantime Sandeep changed his mind and started farming. He has cultivated 84 medicinal plants including aloe vera in about 450 bigha area. From which he is earning crores of rupees every year. Apart from aloe vera, he is also cultivating Ashwagandha, Giloy etc.
Sandeep earns crores annually
Sandeep says that if he does not get a good price for his produce, he makes cosmetic products from it at his own level and then sells them in the market, which gives him huge profits. Sandeep says that 40 bighas of land gives him a profit of 12 lakhs annually.
Sandeep has now started apple farming
Sandeep has also started apple farming at present. Now we have to see how the first yield is. If the first yield is good then Sandeep will start apple farming on a large scale. Seeing Sandeep’s passion for farming, today other farmers are also getting motivated and starting the process of farming like him.
This milestone was achieved by challenging geographical conditions
Sandeep says that farming in Churu is a challenging task due to the geographical conditions, because in the summer season in Rajasthan, the temperature here reaches around 50 degrees, while in winter the temperature goes down to -5 degrees. The amount of fluoride in the water here is also the highest. Therefore, farming has to be done using three types of soil. Sandeep made it possible with his determination. His dedication towards farming has not only brought him success, but has also inspired other farmers.
