This senior police officer in Rajasthan was arrested red-handed while taking bribe, major action by ACB

Sawai Madhopur : Anti-Corruption Bureau Outpost In-charge (ASP) Bhairulal Meena used to collect bribe money in the name of protection money. In Sawai Madhopur, ACB keeps receiving complaints against some important departments including transport, electricity, mining, police. Many complaints are false and many are true. DG BL Soni said that the accused Bhairulal Meena used to collect money from the officials of some government departments in the name of protection money in lieu of not taking action on the complaints. Even the accused Bhairulal claimed that he would not take action on the complaints received. He will also be asked to investigate the complaints received by the ACB headquarters, then he will not let any action be taken against the corrupt officials by misleading the ACB headquarters by informing them that the complaint is false. ACB had received information about the accused collecting bribe from the officials of government departments two months ago, since then he was on the radar of ACB.

ACB ADG Dinesh MN said that most of the duty of accused ASP Bhairulal Meena in the police department was in Kota division. He is the outpost in-charge of Sawai Madhopur ACB since March 2018.

Search is going on at four locations. The ACB team is searching the Sawai Madhopur and Kota residences of accused ASP Bhairulal Meena. While the ACB is busy searching the Sawai Madhopur and Karauli residences of accused DTO Maheshchand Meena.

Government departments are busy saving the corrupt

According to ACB sources, top officials of many government departments are busy saving the corrupt. Despite the orders of the court and the Chief Minister, government departments do not give timely prosecution approval against their officers and employees caught red-handed taking bribe. ACB also keeps writing letters to the heads of departments in this regard every day. Despite this, at present, prosecution approval is pending against 102 officers and employees of many government departments and 32 officers in DOP. Many of these cases are more than 2 years old. It is said that this year ACB has taken action against corrupt officers and employees caught red-handed taking bribe in more than 265 cases.
