Karauli : A new breed of goat has been discovered among the 34 famous breeds of goat found in India, which has been named Karauli Goat. This breed of goat found in Rajasthan has also got a prominent place among the five special breeds of goats of Rajasthan. According to the Animal Husbandry Department Karauli, a team from Udaipur came to Karauli and studied the new breed of goat found in Karauli for several weeks. After which this special breed of goat has been recognized as a new breed by the National Animal Genetic Resources Bureau, Karnal.
