Kota : Leader of Opposition of Kota South Municipal Corporation and Fair Committee Chairman met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in Delhi on Monday regarding the preparations for the 131st National Dussehra Fair of Kota. During this, he informed the Speaker about the preparations of the Dussehra Fair. Fair Committee Chairman Vivek Rajvanshi said that on Monday, a delegation of the corporation met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla regarding the preparations for the National Dussehra Fair of Kota and various topics related to the fair. In the meeting, efforts will be made to sponsor almost all the programs to be organized in the fair, such as Sindhi program, Ashapura Bhajan Sandhya, Bal Pratibha program, Cine Sandhya, Punjabi program etc. through an institution. For the first time, an attempt is being made to get a drone show organized in the fair through the Defense Ministry.
80 feet tall Ravana, circus for children
This time, the effigy of Raavan will be made 80 feet tall from 75 feet. For this, the opinion of technical experts is being taken. A circus will be set up in the fair. Special efforts are being made to allow sellers of artificial jewellery and other items related to women to set up shops in the fair.
Motivational program will be organized
A proposal will be made to organize an evening in the name of martyrs, a laughter show and a motivational program in the fair. 4-5 names have also been proposed for the motivational program in the fair.
Kanhaiya Mittal will have a bhajan evening
In the Dussehra fair, a performance will be given by the famous artist Kanhaiya Mittal in the Bhajan Sandhya program. Apart from this, people coming to the fair will also be able to enjoy the view of the tableau of the Amarnath cave this time. Along with this, talks are being held with the officials of ISKCON Temple to create a grand tableau of Ram temple on the lines of Ayodhya in the fair.
Tourism department will give 50 lakh rupees
The state government will transfer an amount of Rs 50 lakh to the corporation for organizing the fair through the tourism department. Apart from this, the tourism department will sponsor a cultural program in the fair. The tourism department will pay for this program directly to the artists.
Renowned poets of the country will gather in the kavi sammelan
In the All India Kavi Sammelan held at the fair, poetry recitation will be done by renowned poets of the country.
Another meeting today regarding the fair
After the meeting, a meeting will be held on Tuesday regarding the Dussehra fair in Delhi. Fair committee chairman Vivek Rajvanshi, assistant engineer Tosif Khan, senior assistant Sandeep Audhichya were present in the meeting.
