Sirohi : Winter has now knocked in entire North India including Rajasthan. People have started feeling cold in the morning and evening. In the weather forecast issued by Jaipur Meteorological Center, it has been warned that there will be dense fog in the state for the next three days. It has also been said that the minimum temperature will also drop rapidly in the coming days.
How was the weather on Sunday?
Talking about the temperature of the last 24 hours, moderate to dense fog was recorded in most parts of Bikaner division of north-western Rajasthan on Sunday. During this period the visibility was recorded from 500 to 200 meters. In view of the decreasing visibility, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has instructed the drivers to take special precautions in the coming days.
Mount Abu’s mercury reaches below 10 degrees
The temperature is continuously going down in Mount Abu, the coldest area of the state. The mercury in Mount Abu has been below 10 degrees Celsius for the last three days. On Sunday also 9.4 degrees Celsius was recorded. Not only this, there are 12 cities in the state where the minimum temperature remained below 15 degrees Celsius. Among these, the mercury remained less than 12 degrees Celsius in Sirohi, Fatehpur and Sikar. With the falling mercury, the Meteorological Department believes that winter is about to hit the state completely.
Dense fog warning on Monday also
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of dense fog for Monday. According to this, there is a possibility of dense to very dense fog in some areas of North Rajasthan during the late night of 17th November and morning of 18th November, which will persist for the next 24 hours.
Minimum temperature will fall further in the next 5 days
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a drop of 2 to 3 degrees in the minimum temperature in the state in the next 5 days. Also, in the coming days, there is a possibility of dense fog in some parts of Jaipur, Bikaner division and a drop in minimum temperature in most parts of the state.
