Alwar : Tourists of Sariska will not be able to see the bears this time. All three bears have left the forest. It is believed that the bears were facing difficulties in making their home. Apart from this, there was also a food crisis. However, the Sariska administration argues that efforts will be made to bring the bears back again.
This is how the bears came two years ago: For the first time three bears were translocated to Sariska. They were brought from Mount Abu and Jalore. As soon as they were released in Sariska, they started moving towards the hilly area. They also went towards Ajabgarh and Bilwari forest areas. When they came into the populated area, the forest department team tried to catch them, but the bear even injured a worker. Overall, the bears did not return to the tourist site. For about two years, the bears were seen far away.
The bear used to go to weddings to eat sweets
Through radio collar, the location of one bear is being found in Karauli Mandrayal forest, while the location of the other bear is in Jaipur Viratnagar forest. The third bear was left alone. In such a situation, there was a fear that it might go into the populated areas and create trouble for the people. Therefore, the Sariska administration left it in the Karauli Mandrayal forest. It is said that the bear was also reaching those places where marriages etc. took place. He was fond of eating sweets there. In such a situation, he could have become a headache for the people. Therefore, he was left in another forest. Two bears are in Karauli Mandrayal forest, while the third bear is in Viratnagar. The bears were probably facing difficulties in making their habitat and eating here, so they left the forest.
