Jaipur : Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot has once again created a stir in the politics of the state by tweeting. He has not only accused the state government of ignoring the demands of traders, but has also indicated that everything is not going well in the government. This tweet of the Congress leader has come at a time when the Chief Minister of the state Bhajan Lal Sharma and Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa are on a foreign tour, and are meeting big entrepreneurs there and inviting them to invest in Rajasthan.
‘Despite being in Delhi, the Finance Minister did not attend the meeting’
Gehlot wrote on Instagram, ‘It is very unfortunate that on one hand the Chief Minister is going abroad and asking entrepreneurs to come and invest in Rajasthan, but why is the BJP government of the state not placing the demands of Rajasthan’s marble-granite entrepreneurs before the Centre? The government should not forget that the entrepreneurs of the state are the backbone of our economy. It is also surprising that why the Finance Minister of Rajasthan did not participate in the GST Council despite being in Delhi? This shows that everything is not going well in the government.’
Nirmala Sitharaman met businessmen in Udaipur
Actually, the country’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had recently visited Udaipur. During this time, traders had raised the demand of reducing GST on marble and granite. After this visit, a GST counseling meeting was held in Delhi on Monday. But, despite being in Delhi, the Finance Minister did not attend it.
