A tradition has been going on after Dussehra for years in Pratap Nagar of Sanganer. Here, after Ravana Dahan, all those rituals are performed as per Sanatan culture after someone’s death. These traditions not only reflect the importance of the festival but also ensure that good always triumphs over evil.
Teeya meeting and turban custom
A unique tradition is going on after Ravana Dahan. Fair Committee Chairman Rajendra Patel said that under a unique tradition, after Ravana Dahan, other events including Teeya meeting are organised. After the burning, there will be a meeting of Ravana’s lamp on 14th October. Committee members Ramswaroop Yadav and Kishan Barlani told that a team of 15 members will go to Haridwar and Badrinath Dham. Where the ashes of Ravana Dahan will be flown into the Ganga. Also, there will be a tradition of turban on 23rd in which local people will be present.
