Jaipur : Political parties have released the list of their star campaigners for Haryana Assembly Elections 2024. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has selected 40 prominent leaders for campaigning, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers JP Nadda, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, and many other senior leaders. The BJP has also made leaders like Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and former state president Satish Poonia as star campaigners. This step has been taken keeping in mind the social and cultural ties between the two states.
At the same time, the Congress party has also released its list of star campaigners, which includes President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. From Rajasthan, Congress has made former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot and state president Govind Singh Dotasara as campaigners. Other prominent campaigners include Bhupendra Singh Hooda, Kumari Selja, and Randeep Singh Surjewala. Let us tell you that Sachin Pilot is also being sent to Kashmir as a star campaigner. But Govind Singh Dotasara and Ashok Gehlot have been ignored.

When are the assembly elections in Haryana?
Voting for the Haryana Assembly will be held in a single phase on October 5, and counting will take place on October 8. Voting will be held for 90 seats in this election and support of 46 MLAs is required for a majority. The term of Haryana Assembly ends on November 3, 2024.
