Vivek (44), a resident of Kumher in the city, while giving a complaint at the Kotwali police station on Sunday, said that on November 15, he received a call from an unknown number. In which a ransom of Rs 50 lakh was demanded from Vivek. The person calling was claiming to be a member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. As soon as the caller asked for ransom from Vivek, Vivek disconnected the call. After which Vivek got a message from the caller. In which he expressed his displeasure over disconnecting the call. On November 23, at 3:41 pm, a threatening message came again. In which it was written. Keep Rs 50 lakh ready, will call tomorrow. If you don’t pay, they will shoot you. Yesterday Vivek lodged an FIR in the Kotwali police station. On this matter, SP Mridul Kachhawa says that a case has been registered and investigation has been started.
