Threat to bomb Jodhpur Pune flight for the fifth time, created panic

Jodhpur : Pune-Jodhpur-Pune flight received bomb threat for the fifth time, which again proved to be a hoax. The plane took off from Pune and reached Jodhpur at 1:55 pm. Jodhpur-Pune flight took off from here at 2:30. There was information about a bomb in the plane en route, after which the flight was diverted midway to Ahmedabad instead of Pune and landed. A complete investigation was conducted by parking the aircraft aside on the isolation way at Ahmedabad Airport. The plane was sent back to Pune only after getting the green signal from the security agencies.

It is noteworthy that so far seven flights to and from Jodhpur have received bomb threats. Jodhpur-Delhi flight on 19th October, Pune-Jodhpur flight on 20th October, Hyderabad-Jodhpur flight on 22nd October and Pune-Jodhpur flight on 23rd and 24th October, Pune-Jodhpur flight on 27th October and Jodhpur-Pune flight on 28th October. Four FIRs registered for giving bomb threats in the plane

Four separate FIRs have been lodged against unknown persons in the Airport Police Station of Police Commissionerate Jodhpur in connection with making bomb threats on flights coming from Pune to Jodhpur and from Hyderabad to Jodhpur. At present, the person giving the threats has not been found. According to the police, on October 20 at 1.14 pm, a threatening message was received on the At the same time, on October 22, at 4.04 pm, a threatening e-mail was sent on Gmail regarding the presence of a bomb in the plane coming from Hyderabad to Jodhpur.

Along with this, a threatening e-mail was sent on Gmail at 1.09 pm on October 24 regarding the presence of a bomb in the plane coming from Pune to Jodhpur. Airline company manager Narendra Singh Bankawat lodged an FIR against an unknown person in connection with these three threats. Similarly, on October 25, at 12.06 pm, a message was received on the X handle regarding the presence of a bomb in the plane coming from Pune to Jodhpur. IndiGo’s Security Manager Rajendra Singh Bhandari has lodged an FIR against an unknown person. In all four FIRs, unknown persons have been accused of issuing threats.
