Udaipur News Desk: There was panic at Maharana Pratap Airport in Dabok on Thursday afternoon when they received information about bomb threat on not one but two flights. As soon as the flight landed at Udaipur airport, all the passengers were deboarded and the entire aircraft was thoroughly checked, along with the luggage and passengers. Everyone heaved a sigh of relief when nothing suspicious was found. But the entire incident left the passengers breathless due to panic.
For the past several days, many airports in the country including airlines were receiving bomb threats. On Thursday, 5 flights of Alliance Air and 10 flights of Spice Jet and many more airlines received bomb threats through social media. This also included Alliance Air’s Delhi-Udaipur-Ahmedabad flight number 91695 and Vistara’s Mumbai-Udaipur-Mumbai flight number UK 613. The first information about a bomb in the Vistara flight coming from Mumbai to Udaipur was received at around 1.33 pm, till The flight had landed. This flight was sent to the isolation area. From here the passengers and their luggage were checked. Later the entire flight was also checked. When nothing like this was found, the passengers boarding from Udaipur and their luggage were later checked and the flight was sent to Mumbai.
Similarly, around 3.15 pm, the Alliance Air flight had taken off from Delhi and on reaching Udaipur, the flight was taken away and landed. At the same time, all the passengers were asked to leave their luggage and get down. In such a situation, the passengers also got scared. After this, the teams of the security investigation agency examined the passengers’ luggage and the entire aircraft. No suspicious object was found in this also. After complete investigation, the flight was sent to Ahmedabad. We received information about bomb threat on Alliance Air and Vistara flights. After this, as soon as the flights coming to Udaipur landed, the teams of the security investigation agency reached the flight and conducted a complete investigation. Before that the passengers were sent to a safe place away from the flight. No such suspicious object was found in the investigation. Such threats have been being given for a long time, after which the Udaipur airport administration is alert and ready. Many times mock drills have also been done for this so that immediate action can be taken in case of any kind of danger.
