Threat to demolish 80 year old Jain sub-shelter Mahavir Bhavan in Bhilwara, angry people take to the streets

Bhilwara News Desk: The controversy over Jain presence site in Kalias village of Asind assembly constituency of Bhilwara district of Rajasthan has now started heating up. The issue of threat to demolish the 80 year old Jain sub-shelter Mahavir Bhawan has now gained momentum. People of Sakal Jain Samaj (Jain Temple) protested at Bhilwara Collectorate regarding the entire matter. In fact, in this case, the Sarpanch of Kaliyas village, Shakti Singh Kaliyas, tried to demolish this religious place, after which people started opposing it fiercely.

People came to submit memorandum to the collector

After the demonstration outside the Collectorate, the representatives gave a memorandum to Collector Namit Mehta demanding to direct the Sarpanch not to cause any damage to the Kalias Jain Upashraya. Seeing this matter increasing, the Collector has instructed the local administration not to take any action related to the demolition of the religious place.

In the memorandum given under the leadership of Shri Jain Shwetambar Sangh Kalias President Nauratmal Dungarwal, it was told that the Mahavir Bhavan Upashraya of Kalias was renovated some time ago. This Upashraya is not limited to the saints of any sect or sect but is an important place for the rest of the saints and sages of all sects, traditions and sects passing through that route. The importance of this place of Kaliyas increases due to lack of proper arrangements for the residences of saints etc. in the surrounding villages.
