Three day seminar in Kota JDB Government Girls College

Kota : Kota A three-day seminar organized by the Agricultural Forum for Technical Education of Farming Society was inaugurated at JDB Government Girls College. More than 700 research papers on the topic Global Challenges and Innovation Integrative Approach for Environmental Sustainability were included in it. The chief guest in the program was Vice Chancellor of Vardhaman Mahavir Open University, Prof. Kailash Sodani was a professor. Sodani said that women have contributed a lot in environmental awareness.

Women have been worshiping Tulsi and Peepal since ancient times. On population explosion, he said that prosperous countries are increasing their carbon footprint. They are polluting the environment 30 times more than a normal country. He also expressed his views on public transport and water conservation. The session was presided over by Principal Dr. Ajay Vikram Singh Chandel. He said that with everyone’s cooperative approach this nature can be made beautiful. Assistant Director of College Education, Dr. Geeta Ram Sharma said that our existence exists only if we protect the environment. Convenor Dr. Vijay Deora said that the main objective of the conference is to share knowledge. Conference Director Dr. Jitendra Mehta also expressed his views. Do not get patents on the use of medicines: Key note speaker in the first technical session, Prof. NK Dubey said on Ethno Medicinal Diversity that 80 percent of the world’s population is taking herbal medicines for various diseases.

Various types of medicines are being used in India since ancient times, but we are not able to get them patented. He discussed the medicinal properties of Tulsi, Turmeric, Salix Alba, Chia Seed, Millets etc. Professor of Mohanlal Sukhadia University. Maheep Bhatnagar presented his research on the topic Restoration of Ecosystem Integrative Approach to Sustain. A total of 40 research papers were read in two separate technical sessions.
