Sriganganagar : Rajasthan once again witnessed the havoc of high speed. Three people died in a horrific road accident in Anupgarh on Saturday morning. All those who died are said to be from the same family. A child in the car and the pickup driver were injured in the accident. Whose treatment is going on in the government hospital of Anupgarh. According to the police, the accident happened on Saturday morning at 7 am near village 15A bus stand on National Highway 911. Three people died on the spot in a head-on collision between a car and a pickup. At the same time, two people were injured. Who have been admitted to the government hospital of Anupgarh for treatment. The police have kept all three bodies in the mortuary of Anupgarh CHC. After the arrival of the relatives, the bodies will be handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.
Three people in the car died
There were four people in the car at the time of the accident. Out of which car driver Prabhu, his father Omprakash son of Hanuman, resident of Sriganganagar, cousin brother Balbir son of Hanuman, resident of Sangaria died on the spot. Meanwhile, 12 year old Prashant was injured. Pickup driver Karni Singh was also badly injured in the accident. Both the injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Two vehicles badly damaged in the accident
Both the vehicles were destroyed in the head-on collision. Due to the fierce clash, the people nearby were also frightened by the loud explosion. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. With the help of local people, the police, after a lot of effort, took out the bodies trapped in the car.
Accident happened due to overtake
Initial investigation has revealed that the accident occurred due to overtaking. Eyewitnesses said that the car coming from Anupgarh towards Gharsana overtook the trolley moving ahead. Then the car collided with the pickup coming from the front. After this, the uncontrolled pickup rammed into the trolley, due to which the trolley also overturned.
