Three years imprisonment to the accused in Hanumangarh fraud case

Hanumangarh : ACJM Raviprakash Bakolia has sentenced the accused Amarjeet son of Tulsiram, resident of Ward 10, Srikaranpur, Sriganganagar, to three years imprisonment in the fraud case. Besides, a fine of Rs 5,000 has also been imposed.

Prosecution officer Pushpendra Singh Shekhawat said that complainant Sahiram had purchased five bighas of land from Amarjeet on January 26, 2011 for Rs 310,000. The agreement was signed by paying Rs 1,250,000, but Amarjeet cheated him and sold the land to another person. Taking this matter seriously, the court has found the accused Amarjeet guilty and sentenced him to three years imprisonment.
