Ticket checking team from Jodhpur Railway registered 18201 cases in the month of October.

Jodhpur : Jodhpur: Jodhpur Railway Board, determined to provide better service to the passengers, is continuously making best efforts, due to which railway revenue is also increasing. Under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Pankaj Kumar Singh and the leadership of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Vikas Kheda, the ticket checking team of the Commerce Department has earned a revenue of Rs 74 lakh 19 thousand 658 in the month of October. Jodhpur Railway Division Efforts are being made to stop unauthorized passengers and irregular activities through ticketless ticket holders, unbooked luggage etc.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Vikas Kheda said – In October 2024, the ticket checking team of the Commerce Department has fined Rs 59 lakh 01 thousand 811 on 14,672 cases without tickets, Rs 15 lakh 10 thousand 648 on 3515 cases of irregular tickets, those traveling without booked luggage. Rs 7199 on 14 cases. Fine was imposed. Thus, a total of 18 thousand 201 cases were registered in the month of October, due to which a fine of Rs. Railway revenue of Rs 74 lakh 19 thousand 658 was collected.
