Tight security arrangements in Rajasthan on Diwali, police personnel deployed at various places

Jaipur : Police Headquarters has issued instructions to make special security arrangements across the state regarding the five-day Diwali. Along with increasing the security arrangements on Diwali, the Police Headquarters has also given instructions to take strict action against those who disturb communal harmony. Special vigil is also being maintained in the capital Jaipur. In view of the festival of Diwali, the police headquarters has also become alert due to the input received from the Centre. Due to the alert received from central agencies, security arrangements have also been tightened in Rajasthan adjacent to the international border. Along with checking the people staying in hotels and guest houses in every district, the police has given instructions to keep vigil at the airport, bus stand and railway station. Besides, instructions have been issued to block all the highways and national highways and check every vehicle. Every suspicious person and activities are being monitored across the state. Additional security has been provided to all the districts for security. At the same time, anti-social elements who disturb harmony are also being identified and strict action is being taken against them.

Special arrangements were made for security

ADG Law and Order Vishal Bansal said- Special arrangements have been made for security in the capital Jaipur on the festival of Diwali. The Police Commissionerate has provided additional personnel to all the Deputy Commissioners of Police for security arrangements on Diwali. Along with police stations, RAC, Hadi Rani Battalion, QRT and Home Guard personnel have been deployed for security arrangements in the city. All police officers have been instructed to patrol. Keeping in mind the safety of people coming to the city to see and buy lights on Diwali, policemen in plain clothes have been deployed in major markets. At the same time, the police is also monitoring every activity through CCTV cameras and drone cameras installed in government buildings and markets. The police will deal strictly with those who disturb the peace in the city on festive occasions.
