Barmer : IAS Tina Dabi, the newly appointed District Collector of Barmer district of Rajasthan, showed activeness and inspected the district soon after taking charge of her new post on Saturday. On Sunday, suddenly going out for inspection in Barmer city, she started the journey from the Circuit House and visited the main intersections and roads of the city. During this, many important places including Sindhari Chauraha, Chohtan Chauraha, BNC Circle, Ahimsa Chauraha, Station Road and Jodhpur Road were inspected. She kept visiting the roads till evening with the officials.
Strict instructions given to the officers of Barmer district
During the inspection, Tina Dabi was very upset about the poor sanitation system and dilapidated roads of Barmer city. She directed Municipal Council Commissioner Vijay Pratap Singh, NHI and PWD officials to immediately improve the sanitation system and repair the roads. After her instructions, the concerned departments have started the process of taking necessary steps.
Tina Dabi will work on Jaisalmer model in Barmer too
Tina Dabi said in a conversation with the media that she will work on the Jaisalmer model in Barmer as well, in which a systematic and effective system of management will be implemented. She said that due to rain, the condition of the roads has become very bad and her priority will be to get the roads repaired quickly so that the common people can get relief.
