The state government has announced Rs 150 crore in the budget for widening the Khari feeder. Under this, DPR was prepared by the Irrigation Department and sent to the Zone and Circle Office located in Udaipur. There he was examined and sent to Jaipur. After careful scrutiny of the DPR, administrative and financial approval was issued. Technical approval has been issued from the headquarters in Udaipur. The tender process for this is going on by the local irrigation department. Tenders will be uploaded by the department on 28th November. It is proposed to be opened on 27th December. If everything goes well, work can start by the end of the first month of next year. It is noteworthy that the state government has announced in the budget to widen the Khari feeder. That too is being implemented. An announcement of Rs 80 crore was made during the Congress rule, but it remained only an announcement.
