‘Today brother will drive the car’, the drunk youth put it on the track; Loco pilot of goods train took this step

Jaipur : ‘Three-four friends traveling in a rented SUV car… that too drunk, then one of them said… Brother will show off by jumping the car from the railway track today.’ It certainly sounds like a film, but something similar has happened in Sinwar area of Jaipur. On Monday, drunken youth tried to perform stunts in a rented SUV. The loco pilot of the goods train, seeing the SUV on the railway track, applied brakes on time and saved life and property.

According to Kanakpura RPF outpost in-charge SI Gokul Singh, this incident happened around 4 pm on Monday afternoon. The youth’s car got stuck on the railway track. During this time, when a goods train was seen coming on the track, some youths in the SUV got down and ran away. A major accident was averted by stopping the train, but the goods train remained stopped for about 15 minutes, due to which the operation of many passenger trains was delayed.

Drove at high speed… driver narrowly escaped
After the goods train stopped, RPF and police reached the spot and helped in removing the train from the track. But the driver of the SUV took the vehicle off the track and ran away at high speed. During this time, the SUV avoided colliding with several vehicles on the way and then ran over a pile of gravel near Mangalam Market.

Even after this, the driver did not stop and avoided colliding with several two-wheeler drivers. The driver took the SUV towards Mundiaramsar village. However, the SUV was found parked on the roadside, about four kilometers away from the incident site, which was confiscated by the police. Police said that the SUV car was taken on rent. Information about the accused is being collected by interrogating the car owner.
