Jaipur : Safai Karamcharis across the state will return to work from Monday afternoon. In the meeting held at the government residence of Autonomous Governance Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra on Sunday, it was decided to cancel the recruitment. Also, agreement has been reached on other demands. On Monday, there will be a meeting of Safai Karamcharis at Heritage Municipal Corporation Headquarters at 1 pm. The Autonomous Governance Minister will also be present in it. After this meeting, Safai Karamcharis will return to work.
Consultation held at minister’s residence
MLA Kalicharan Saraf, Joint Valmiki and Safai Shramik Sangh president Nandkishore Dandoria and several other Safai Sangh officials were present in the meeting held at the minister’s residence on Sunday. It is worth noting that since July 24, Safai Karamcharis across the state were on strike demanding cancellation of the recruitment process and amendment in the rules.
Cleanliness system has to be brought back on track
About 30 thousand sanitation workers were on strike in the state capital Jaipur and other bodies. There are heaps of garbage on the roads in the capital and other cities. In such a situation, it will be a big challenge for the sanitation workers to set the sanitation system right in the next few days.
