Tonk ADJ inspected the mentally handicapped rehabilitation home.

Tonk : District Legal Services Authority Secretary (Additional District Judge) Dinesh Kumar Jalutharia inspected the registered mentally retarded rehabilitation home Jagdish Seva Sansthan Tonk on Friday. During the inspection, the judge expressed displeasure over the foul smell in the toilet of the institute and directed to repair it. Earlier, out of 33 children registered in the institute, 14 were found present. Information came to light that Shesh had gone to his residence on the occasion of Diwali. During the inspection of the mentally retarded rehabilitation home, the judge gave instructions to make proper arrangements for the condition of the building, beds for the children, warm clothes to wear according to the weather, bedding, quilts and blankets.

The judge also inquired about the sports complex, children’s education, quality of food, diet scale, cleanliness of the building, psychological and health tests. During this, the judge inspected the register etc. of the institute and gave necessary instructions to the caretaker Vishnu Sharma and the nanny. Earlier, Authority Secretary (Additional District Judge) Dinesh Kumar Jalutharia inspected the Mentally Retarded Rehabilitation Home Manav Seva Sansthan Deoli and observed the facilities of the building, kitchen, bathroom, cleanliness of the premises and arrangements for food and drink for the children.

Out of 66 children registered in the rehabilitation home, 58 were found present. It came to light that the remaining children had gone on leave. Apart from this, the Additional District Judge inspected the Government Juvenile Home and Cradle Home Tonk. Where they did not find any boy or girl in the children’s home. A two-month old girl was found in the same crèche in Tonk. Whose caretaker Vishnu and nanny were instructed to dress him in appropriate clothes. During the inspection, the judge examined the registers etc. to be maintained and inquired about the publicity of the child helpline. Necessary guidelines were given after taking information about the condition of the building, cleanliness of the building, psychological and health tests in the Government Juvenile Home Tonk.
