Tonk : Lambahari Singh police station on Tuesday exposed the incident of robbery of earrings and nose ring from four people including a woman of the area. Police have arrested two accused youths in this case.
SP Vikas Sangwan said that on the night of 28th October, in Rupaheli village of Lamba Harisingh police station area, a miscreant broke the gold earrings from the ears of an elderly person sleeping outside his enclosure. Similarly, on the night of 11th November, miscreants broke the gold ear rings of an elderly person sleeping outside his house in Ganwar of Malpura police station area. On November 16, miscreants broke a gold nose ring from the nose of a woman coming home from her farm in Kalanada, Lambahari Singh and ran away. A similar incident took place in Diggi police station area on 16 November. There, the miscreants broke the woman’s nose ring and took her away from outside her house on Pinani Road Diggi.
The police took these four cases seriously by registering a case and worked hard to expose it. Under the supervision of Malpura DYSP Ashish Prajapat, teams were formed under the leadership of Lambaharisingh police station in-charge Mukesh Kumar, Police Station Officer, Diggi Police Station in-charge Omprakash, Police Station Officer Diggi. The teams formed by them traced the accused through private sources, cyber cells etc. An important clue was found about the Kalbeliya gang which had committed all the crimes. In the districts like Tonk, Kekri, Ajmer, Dudu, Bundi, Jalore and Bhilwara, incidents of looting and vandalism were continuously being carried out. Taking action, the police arrested Suraj Kalbelia, son of Raju Kalbelia, resident of Punarvas Colony, Banthali district, Tonk, Ram Swaroop Kalbelia, son of Mitthu Kalbelia, resident of Rupaheli Malpura, district Tonk, who were involved in this gang. The accused has confessed to committing 40 crimes along with other associates.
