Instructions have been given to the officers and employees of the Agriculture Department posted at every Panchayat headquarters to motivate the farmers for this. For this, agriculture supervisors are also motivating the farmers. The special thing is that seed treatment machines are present in every agricultural office. It is free for farmers.
Farmers can get free seed treatment by reaching the Agriculture Supervisor office. For this, agriculture officers are organizing programs and also giving its demo. Farmers are being told how to do seed treatment. Its demo has been given at many gram panchayat levels including Kakod. During this time, to overcome the deficiency of DAP, it is being advised to use single super phosphate fertilizer in place of DAP.
Joint Director of Agriculture Department, Virendra Singh Solanki said that seed treatment is necessary for higher production. Seed treatment not only protects the seeds from diseases and pests but also increases the germination capacity of the seeds and crop production. To protect crops from diseases and pests, seed treatment must be done as per departmental recommendations.
