At many places, hailstorm also fell along with stormy rain. Farmers busy preparing for sowing of Rabi crop have described this rain as useful. Ranauli resident Babulal Meena said that in many villages of Pachwara area including Ramnagar, Ranauli, Bidarkha, Bichhya, Hamirpura, Ramgarh Pachwara, Malawas, Khadaria, Basra, trees fell at many places due to rain accompanied by strong thunderstorms. Trees fell due to storm in many villages on both sides of Lalsot-Tuunga road. The fields were also flooded. Farmers looked happy due to rain in many villages including Samel, Rooppura, Shivsinghpura, Badakapada of Lalsot area. Siyaram Chanda Samel said that this rain will prove to be a boon for all those farmers who are facing shortage of water and have sown mustard or gram crops.
