Rajasthan : Due to the re-activation of monsoon in Rajasthan, heavy rains are being seen in many districts. This time good rains are being seen in the state. Farmers are getting benefit from this. At the same time, the rain recorded in the month of August broke the record of many years. Many dams are overflowing due to good rains. This time more water was seen in Bisalpur Dam (Tonk) than in many years. IMD has again issued a rain alert in eastern Rajasthan.

According to the Meteorological Department, the deep depression system formed over southern Rajasthan has gradually moved towards the west and reached the northern parts of Gujarat. There is a strong possibility of it gradually moving towards Saurashtra, Kutch region in the next 48 hours. Due to the effect of the above, there is a possibility of intermittent moderate rain and heavy rain at some places in some parts of Udaipur, Jodhpur division with strong winds of 30 to 40 Kmph during the next 48 hours.
There will be heavy rain in September
There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain with thundershowers in some parts of Bikaner, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer divisions in the next two-three days. Rainfall activities are likely to increase again in eastern Rajasthan from August 31 and heavy rain activities are likely to be recorded in the first week of September.
