Dausa : An innocent girl who fell into a 600 feet deep borewell in Bandikui town near Dausa district of Rajasthan has come out defeating death. She was trapped at a depth of about 50 feet, the police, administration, SDRF, NDRF and local villagers were constantly trying to save her. Everyone’s efforts paid off and she was taken out this morning. Although the rescue team had to face many obstacles, the biggest obstacle in which was rain. But everyone’s efforts were finally successful.

Actually, two-year-old girl Neeru was living with her family in Jodhpuriya village of Bandikui. The family had got a borewell dug in their field some time ago, it was dug up to about 600 feet, but it was closed when there was no water. But due to continuous rain in the last few days, a deep pit was formed right next to the borewell, about which no one was aware.

Yesterday evening Neeru and other children of the family were playing near this borewell. Suddenly the girl fell in it. She got stuck at a depth of about fifty feet. The rescue operation started at 5 pm yesterday evening and was successful today morning at around 10 am. Meanwhile, the girl’s mother was continuously talking to her to keep her awake. She was being monitored with special cameras. She could be taken out by digging a parallel pit near the borewell. Mother Kavita and the people of the family and the village were continuously praying. More than ten attempts were made to take the girl out, and now success was achieved. It is worth mentioning that the chances of survival in borewell accidents occurring across the country are very low.
