Jaipur : The royal procession of Teej will be taken out in the capital through various routes with royal pomp. This time the tourism department has started preparations with innovation regarding the Teej procession. On the instructions of Tourism Minister Diya Kumari, this time the royal procession of Teej will be seen by the whole country and the world. On the instructions of the minister, the tourism department made preparations to telecast the procession live at tourist places and public places along with social platforms. Additional Director of Tourism Department Rakesh Sharma said that this time the Teej procession of Jaipur will be shown live through LED screens at tourist places and public places. Before the Teej procession starts, Rajasthani folk artists will spread the color of folk colors near the live screen. People sitting in the country and the world will also be able to see the royal procession of Teej in Jaipur through social media.
Deputy Director of Tourism Department Upendra Singh Shekhawat said that this time the Tourism Department will take out the Teej procession with traditional royal entourage from Janani Deori on 7th and 8th August with innovations. This time the Teej procession will be welcomed by showering flowers through drones. This time the number of folk artists is being increased along with the royal pomp of the Teej procession, who will spread the color of folk. To show the Teej procession live, it will be shown on live screens at Badi Chaupad Hawa Mahal, Albert Hall, Pounding Garden, Tripolia Gate.
The procession will start from Tripolia Gate and reach Talkatora via Tripolia Bazaar, Chhoti Chaupad, Gangauri Bazaar. During the Teej procession, 150 artists will perform Rajasthani folk dances. This time, folk dances will start at Chhoti Chaupad and Talkatora before the procession. According to the preparations of the Tourism Department, artists will perform Ghoomar and Chari dance at Chhoti Chaupad. At Talkatora, there will be band playing along with Kachhi Ghori dance. In the Teej procession, Rajasthani folk artists will move forward performing Kalbelia dance, Kachhi Ghori dance, Ghoomar dance, Chari and Gair dance. Shehnai playing will also be heard along with Mashak playing and Bhapang playing. Along with majestic camels and horse riders, a procession of camels, Nishan elephants, horses etc. will also be seen in the procession.
