Tourists angry over not getting tickets in Ranthambore protested in Sawai Madhopur.

Sawai Madhopur : Ranthambore has a good crowd of tourists these days. A large number of domestic and foreign tourists are coming here for safari. The number of tourists increased in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve on Saturday over the weekend. A crowd of tourists gathered at the booking office of the Forest Department located on Housing Board Road. However, due to the Forest Department’s ticket quota being full, about 150 tourists could not get tickets to visit the park. In such a situation, a large number of tourists returned disappointed. At the same time, some tourists also created ruckus.

Tourists created ruckus

According to the Forest Department, due to the large number of tourists arriving in Ranthambore, long queues of tourists formed at the booking window for tickets in Current Online. During this time, more than five hundred tourists were seen standing in queue for tickets. In order to send more and more tourists to the park, the number of gypsies in the five tourist vehicles reserved in the VIP quota was reduced and the number of canters was increased. Even after this, the Forest Department could not send all the tourists to visit the park. Even after completion of the quota of vehicles in the existing online and VIP quota, when the crowd of tourists outside the window for tickets did not reduce, the employees refused to give tickets to the remaining tourists. In such a situation, many tourists got angry and started creating ruckus outside the window. Seeing the matter escalating, the employees closed the window and left the spot.

Due to weekend there is more crowd of tourists

Regarding the matter, Tourism DFO Pramod Dhakad says that due to it being a weekend, the influx of tourists was more on Saturday. The department had increased the number of canters to send more and more tourists on safari, but even after this many tourists could not go on safari. In such a situation, some tourists created a ruckus, after explaining to them the matter was calmed down.
