Sawai Madhopur : A major accident was averted on Monday evening in the National Park located in Ranthambore, Rajasthan. Actually, many people were roaming in the park to see the tiger, when suddenly heavy rain started, due to which the vehicle carrying the tiger safari got washed away in the drain, however people were rescued immediately, otherwise a major accident would have happened. After this, the tiger safari has been banned till further orders.
The car was filled with ten tourists
Rajasthan’s Ranthambore National Park, famous for its tiger safari, is in the news. The incident that happened late Monday evening in this park located in Sawai Madhopur district has never happened before. Ten tourists, a guide and a driver had gone to see the tiger near zone number ten. The tiger was not seen there but their lives were saved. After this incident, safaris have been banned at many places in the park until further orders.

However, it was not raining in the National Park at that time. Tourists sitting in a canter were passing through a drain near zone number ten. The flow of water in the drain was very low, but suddenly water came from the mountains and this drain became a river in no time. The heavy vehicle started floating like a blade of grass. The driver stopped the vehicle with difficulty, called his team through wireless and later everyone together rescued the tourists. However, the vehicle had drifted quite far away.
