Sirohi : Five people of the same family lost their lives in a horrific road accident on Beawar-Pindwara Highway NH-62 on Thursday morning. The accident happened around 7 o’clock. It is being told that due to burst tire of the car, it lost control and fell into the drain, breaking the divider.
The family was going from Pindwara to Jodhpur.
According to the information received by the police, the people in the car were going from Pindwara towards Jodhpur. After the incident, Kotwali police station immediately reached the spot. DSP Mukesh Chaudhary said that this accident happened near Thaneshwarji Pulia. The police immediately pulled out the damaged car with the help of a crane and safely took the injured woman to the trauma center of Sirohi Hospital.
If there was less air in the tyre, the whole family would have been saved.
Those who died in this accident include Pratap, Ramuram, Usha, Pushpa and 11 month old child Ashu. All the people were residents of Dahod, Gujarat. At the same time, a woman named Sharda was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment. Police officials said that there are some important things in the car which every driver needs to check while on the highway or when taking it out of the house. Most of the time, the complaint of burst tire of a car occurs due to two reasons, either there is less air in the tire or sometimes the tire is filled with air in a hurry and then it is not checked. There is a huge possibility of tire burst due to excess air.
Used to fix other people’s cars, but couldn’t fix his own.
Kotwali police said that preliminary information has revealed that many people of the family are involved in the business of repairing cars and other big vehicles in Gujarat. But even after that he probably could not make a correct assessment about his car. Pratap Bhai and Usha Devi, who were victims of the accident, are husband and wife. His daughter-in-law Pooja and grandson Ashu were also in the car. Ramuram and Pratap who lost their lives in the accident are cousins.
