Sri Ganganagar : A major road accident has taken place in Anupgarh district near Ganganagar district of Rajasthan. Six people are reported dead in the accident. Police have started identifying them on the basis of the documents found with them and their vehicle numbers. The accident was so terrible that most of the people died on the spot. The incident is from Shri Vijay Nagar area.
According to the police, a serious road accident took place on the Anupgarh-Suratgarh road of Sri Vijaynagar on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, in which 6 youths died. This accident took place in front of Parv Resort at around 1.30 am. According to the information, six youths were going towards their village Bakhtawarpura on two motorcycles, when a speeding car coming towards Sri Vijaynagar hit both the motorcycles. Due to this terrible collision, all the 6 youths were seriously injured. As soon as the information of the accident was received, Sri Vijaynagar Police Administration, Tehsildar and medical team reached the spot and started the relief work.
The horror of the accident can be estimated from the fact that the collision was so severe that three youths fell into the diversion built near the road, who were found after a lot of effort. Two youths had died on the spot itself. Another youth died during first aid, while the other three youths were referred to the district headquarters, where they also could not be saved. According to the information received at the spot, the speed of the car was very high and after the collision the car went in the other direction. The car driver has fled from the spot, and his search is on.
