Alwar : Three children of two brothers died after drowning in the water filled ditch dug beside the path made for mining work being done from both sides of the mountain of lease number 14 running behind Bhuru Ka Bas in Mandla village of Alwar district. Information received from police and villagers told that the three siblings had gone to the mountains to graze the animals. All three died on the spot after drowning in the water filled ditch of the path made for the lease. These included Bala’s two grandsons and one granddaughter named Ahsan (8) alias Golu and Inglisa (10) daughter of Din Mohammad and seven-year-old Safir of cousin Mehboob. Eyewitnesses told that electric wires have been laid inside the ditch to provide light on both sides, due to which people assumed that the children drowned due to electric current in the water.
Even before the police arrived, the villagers took the bodies to their homes. On receiving information about the incident, Additional SP Tej Singh, DSP Om Prakash, police station officer Sawai Singh Chauhan along with police force and QRT team reached the spot and gathered information about the incident. The family members were asked to bring the bodies to Ramgarh CHC for postmortem. There was chaos in the house of the deceased. Till the time of writing the news, the family members had not taken the bodies to Ramgarh for postmortem.
Parents were in bad condition due to crying, mother fainted several times
After this heart-wrenching incident, the parents and relatives are in a bad state and are crying. The mother fainted after getting the information of the children’s death. There was mourning in the whole village. Police is investigating. The Additional SP along with police squad and QRT team reached the spot. There he took information about the incident from the family members. The family members were asked for post-mortem of the deceased children. They refused for post-mortem on the spot. It was informed that the children had gone to graze the animals. This accident took place there. Police is investigating.
