Kota : In Anta town of Baran district on Thursday, a school van carrying children was hit by a truck on Molkhi Road. Due to this, 11th class student Vinita Nagar (16) resident of Barwa died on the spot. While 3 other students Mohit Nagar, Ritika Gurjar, Dhruv Nagar were seriously injured. The students were brought to Anta Sub-District Hospital. Where after first aid, 2 students were referred to Kota for treatment.
One student is being treated at the sub-district hospital. The police have seized the truck and arrested the driver. Since the incident, the parents of the deceased student are inconsolable. Meanwhile, Baran SP Rajkumar Chaudhary also reached Anta sub-district hospital to inquire about the well-being of the injured after receiving the information. Sub-divisional officer Anta Sanjana Joshi also inquired about the injured.

A cowherd grazing his cows near the spot said that the truck was coming from the front and the driver was driving the truck swerving here and there on the road. In this process, it hit the school children’s van coming from the front.
