Train accident was averted here, people’s lives were saved due to this bravery of the pilot

Dungarpur : Big news is coming from Dungarpur district of Rajasthan. To loot the entire train, the robbers put iron rods on the train tracks so that the train gets derailed. The loco pilot suddenly saw this incident happening in the dark and quickly applied the brakes of the train. After that, he removed the iron rods from there and informed the police. The train left with a delay of about an hour and now the police is investigating. This incident happened at some distance from Kotana railway station of Dungarpur. This is the first case of its kind.

The robbers wanted to derail the train

The GRP police and Sadar police station police who reached the spot said that the train which left for Jaipur from Ahmedabad was passing through Dungarpur late last night. Near Kotana station, the loco pilot suddenly saw thick iron rods on the train, which were about 12 mm thick. He slowed down the speed of the train and then immediately applied the brakes. There were about 8 to 10 iron rods and their purpose was to derail the train.

The robbers wanted to rob in the dark and were hiding in a deserted place

GRP police station informed that immediately after leaving Dungarpur station, the train had reached a distance of about 4 kms when the loco pilot applied brakes sharply. The loco pilot and the train staff got down to remove the iron rods on the tracks and later informed the GRP about it. The GRP police immediately reached the spot and started searching for the perpetrators of such crime in the deserted area. However, no one was found on the spot. The GRP police informed that if the speed of the train was high and the iron rods were not visible, the train could have derailed and then the robbers could have looted the passengers. But due to the courage of the loco pilot, this was not possible.

When the train reached Jaipur, we heaved a sigh of relief

After this incident, security was increased in the train. Many more RPF policemen were deployed. Some were sitting in the loco pilot’s cabin. When the train reached Jaipur this morning, everyone heaved a sigh of relief. Due to the alertness of the loco pilot, a major accident was averted. GRP and Sadar police station have registered a case after this incident and have started searching for the accused.
