Train for Udaipur Mahakumbh will leave from the district on 24th January, journey will be of 6 days

Udaipur : Udaipur: Now IRCTC is going to organize the journey to Mahakumbh, the most important and historical event of Hindus. This yatra will start from Udaipur on January 24, which will reach the Mahakumbh fair via Chittorgarh and Chanderiya. The passengers will return to their homes on January 29. In this yatra, the pilgrims will be given darshan of Kumbh Triveni Sangam, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan, Hanuman Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Hanumangarhi. Along with this, Ganga Aarti will also be given darshan. In this journey of 6 days, the passenger will have to spend Rs 28 thousand 340 for standard category and Rs 20 thousand 375 for economy sleeper category.

Mahakumbh is a symbol of spiritual purity

Joint General Manager of IRCTC, Yogendra Singh Gurjar said that Mahakumbh is organized every 12 years at 4 holy places in the country. Where devotees gather for spiritual purification and spiritual work. Prayagraj Mahakumbh Lakhs of devotees are going to come to the holy confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Maha Kumbh is a powerful symbol of India’s spiritual heritage, unity and faith. In view of this enthusiasm, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), an undertaking of Indian Railways, has released a new plan for pilgrimage. This journey has been made keeping in mind the enthusiasm of the travelers regarding Mahakumbh.

Train will leave from Udaipur on 24th January

This train will leave from Udaipur on January 24 and go to Kashi Vishwanath-Varanasi, Prayagraj and Ayodhya via Chittorgarh, Chanderiya, Bhilwara, Ajmer Kishangarh, Phulera, Jaipur, Bandikui, Alwar, Mathura, Agra. In this journey, the passengers will be taken to Kumbh Triveni Sangam, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan, Hanuman Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Hanumangarhi. Along with this, Ganga Aarti will also be performed. Yogendra Singh Gurjar said that passengers will be able to participate in this Mahakumbh through IRCTC and along with this, facilities will be provided in the train ranging from food to visiting pilgrimage sites.

This journey will be in 2 different categories

Two different categories have been prepared by IRCTC for the convenience of passengers. In this, the fare for standard category is Rs 28 thousand 340 per person. Apart from AC train, there will be facility of AC room and bus. At the same time, the fare for economy sleeper category has been kept at Rs 20 thousand 375, in which travel, room and all non-AC facilities will be available. Along with confirmed berths, facilities like hotel rooms, catering services and transportation will be provided in both the categories.

This will be the travel schedule

This yatra will reach Banaras on 25 January via Udaipur, Chittorgarh Chanderiya, Bhilwara, Ajmer Kishangarh, Jaipur, Bandikui, Alwar, Mathura, Agra on 24 January 2025. Here the passengers will be offered the darshan of Ganga Aarti. Night rest will be in Banaras. After breakfast on January 26, passengers will be sent to Prayagraj by bus. After reaching Prayagraj, there will be arrangements for accommodation and food in tents in Mahakumbh village for the pilgrims. After dinner, the pilgrims will be sent for Kumbh and will also stay in tents for the night.

On December 27, passengers will be sent to Varanasi via road. Here the travelers will be given darshan of Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan, Hanuman Temple and Tulsi Manas Temple. Arrangements were made to stay at Varanasi for the night. Will be taken to Ayodhya by train on 28 January. After visiting Ram Janmabhoomi and Hanuman Garhi there, the train will return with the passengers and will reach Udaipur on 29th December. This journey will last for 6 days and 5 nights.
