Jaipur : Government is busy in preparations regarding Rising Rajasthan. The Transport Department has been given the responsibility of bringing private buses from other districts to Jaipur. For this, in many districts, RTOs are giving instructions to private bus operators to take buses. But the rules are not being followed by the RTO. Emphasis is being laid on taking private buses to Jaipur without giving temporary permit. In such a situation, the bus operators of the state have started protesting against it. Operators say that the department itself imposes fine for operating a vehicle without a temporary permit. In such a situation, it is the RTO officers who are causing disobedience. Operators have refused to provide buses without a temporary permit. There is protest from operators across the state.
Temporary permit required
Rajasthan government has previously issued orders for REET, Patwar examination and other employee recruitment, government and non-government events of the state. If payment is not made under the order, buses will not be provided. Buses will not be provided without diesel and permit of minimum Rs 5,000. Operating buses without permit will be a threat to the lives of passengers. The government should solve this problem. If the bus operates outside the fixed route, then the operator has to obtain a temporary permit. In case the bus does not have a temporary permit, it is fined for violating the Motor Vehicle Act.
