On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the Rajasthan government has issued orders for free travel for women and girls in Rajasthan Roadways buses on 19 August. On the day of Raksha Bandhan, women and girls will be able to travel for free within the state. In the order issued by Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation, it was told that on Raksha Bandhan, on 19 August, women and girls will be able to travel for free in Rajasthan Roadways buses.
This gift of free travel will be available only within the boundaries of Rajasthan. The conductors of Rajasthan Roadways buses will issue tickets for free travel to women and girls on this day. It has also been stated in the order issued that advance reservation facility will also be available for travel on this day. However, this gift of free travel will not be available in AC, Volvo and buses operated on All India permits.
