Trial of double decker coach at 180km speed in Kota Railway Division was successful

Kota : Delhi Mumbai Railway Rack of West Central Railway is considered to be one of the best racks. Along with this, most of the new experiments are also done here. The speed of trains is being increased. The security system is being developed. Along with this, work is being done keeping in mind every convenience of the passenger. This track of Vande Bharat Train, Rajdhani and big trains has its own identity. Speed ​​​​testing work has also been done for many big trains here. This time the railway has done the trial of double decker here. Research Design Standards Organization, Lucknow team is doing the trial of double decker rack from July 12 in collaboration with the operations department of the division. This trial is being done to analyze various technical parameters of double decker rack. Which includes testing of air suspension, braking system, speed on curved track etc. The trial of double decker rack was done on the down line on Nagda-Shamgarh section at a speed of 120 to 180 km / hour between July 12 and July 14.

Trials are being conducted at speeds of 120 to 180

On 15th July, this rack was tested at a speed of 180 kmph between Gudla to Laban on Kota-Laban section. While on 16th and 17th July, the air suspension spring was tested in punctured condition at a speed of 60 to 105 kmph on Nagda-Shamgarh section. On 21st and 22nd July, successful trial of double decker rack was done on Nagda-Shamgarh at a speed of 120 to 180 kmph, in which the trial was done at a maximum speed of 180 kmph between Rohlakhurd-Luni and Dara-Alaniya.

The trial of the double decker rack is being conducted under the guidance of RDSO’s Joint Director Testing BM Siddiqui. Traffic inspectors Arvind Pathak, Sushil Jethani and loco inspector RN Meena coordinated this trial with the Lucknow team. The double decker will be tested at 160-180 km/h on July 23 on the Gudla to Lakheri section.
