The trial run of electric buses in Sariska Tiger Reserve passed on Tuesday. These buses will run on two routes. The capacity of a bus is maximum 20 passengers. In this way, 600 devotees will be able to reach Pandupol temple simultaneously from both the routes. The company will decide the fare and submit a report to the Sariska administration.
Traveled in 3 hours: Company officials and Sariska administration took the electric buses of Tamil Nadu company Aquila for a walk and sent them from Sariska Gate to Pandupol Temple. The distance from one side to Hanuman temple is 20 km. In such a situation the round trip distance was 40 km. This journey by bus took about 3 hours on one route. This also includes half an hour parking time. The bus was diverted from the Pandupol temple parking lot and examined from every angle so that problems do not arise later.
Time of operation will be determined: Buses will not depart simultaneously on the same route. The schedule for this will be decided. The plan is to operate from 7 am to 4 pm. In such a situation, one bus can operate every 15 to 20 minutes. If the number of devotees is large then they can also walk together.
That’s why electric buses came: The Supreme Court had issued orders that the damage caused to wildlife by petrol and diesel vehicles can be compensated by electric vehicles. Its operation should be done before 31st December. After the deadline, the buses were trialled.

The capacity of one bus is 20 passengers. It will run at a speed of 20 to 25 km per hour. Will be able to withstand maximum load of 2 thousand kg. It has seven to 10 kilowatt batteries. It gets charged in 6 to 8 hours. Mileage is up to 60 km. The price of this bus is around Rs 9.63 lakh.

Charging stations will be built here
Bhritarhari Dham is near Sariska Gate. In such a situation, a charging station will be built here. Charging of 10 buses can be done simultaneously. After that, there is a plan to increase the number of charging stations in the second phase.
25 rupees can be up to Rent
Till now people used to go to Pandupol temple in their vehicles on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This involved a lot of diesel and petrol expenses. In such a situation, operating electric buses will reduce expenses. One-way fare can be up to Rs 25 per ride. However, more or less will be decided by the concerned company. After that the rate will be approved by the government. Aquila company has done a trial run of the buses. Further decision will be taken on the basis of the report of the concerned company. The fare for the buses will also be proposed by the concerned company. Buses will operate soon.
