Decision should be implemented in Southern Rajasthan

He said that through the meeting we want that the administration, Governor and Chief Minister should implement the quota reservation in the Supreme Court quota in this area. We have no objection if it is implemented for Scheduled Tribes as well as Scheduled Castes. If OBC also gets benefits then it is welcome. Tribal people have 12 percent reservation. Out of that, Southern Rajasthan got separate 6 and a half percent reservation in proportion to its population.

accused of hijacking the platform

Forum convener Kamalkant Katara said that the Tribal Reservation Forum has struggled for a long time for its demands. The forum had also urged the leaders of BJP, Congress and BAP to rise above political ideology and raise their voice for the demand of quota reservation in the society. During the meeting, allegations of hijacking the stage by BJP leaders were also made.

Tribal society should be brought into the mainstream of the nation
