Bundi : A case of suicide by a woman has come to light from Bundi district of Rajasthan. Frustrated with a company, a woman tried to commit suicide by consuming poisonous substance. The incident took place in Tirath village of Keshoraipatan area of the district. Where a father had taken a loan of Rs 7 lakh on a house.
Commited suicide after house was seized
Regarding the matter, it is being told that the woman has been identified as Deepa, who lives in the area. He had taken a loan from a finance company. The finance company had confiscated his house for non-payment of loan. Due to this, the victim became stressed and committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance. When people gathered nearby, he was hurriedly admitted to MBS Hospital in Kota, where the doctors told him that he died during treatment.
Divya is studying in ITI
Divya’s father Mahesh Meena does milk business. One of their sons, Vijay Meena, is currently studying, and the girl who committed suicide, Divya, was studying in ITI.
Demand for action against finance company
After the incident, villagers and family members demonstrated outside the hospital mortuary demanding action against the finance company. Also demanded from the police to waive off the loan of the victim’s family and give appropriate compensation. On receiving information about the commotion outside the hospital mortuary, the police station officer also reached the spot. After convincing the family members, the post mortem of woman Deepa was done in the mortuary of MBS Hospital, Kota and the body was handed over to the family members.

Keshoraipatan police station officer Devesh Bhardwaj said that Mahesh of Tirath village had a loan from the housing finance company. On Saturday, the people of the finance company had taken possession of the house. When Mahesh’s daughter Deepa returned from the fields, she took this suicidal step after seeing that the house was occupied. The police have made it clear to the family that an impartial investigation will be conducted based on the report given by them. According to the information received from the police, the family had a loan of about Rs 7 lakh.
