Jaipur : Mona Bugalia, daughter of a truck driver in Rajasthan, used to intimidate people by posing as a fake IB officer. Not only this, she also took training in Rajasthan Police Academy by committing fraud. On September 29 last year, a case was registered against Mona, who committed fraud, in Shastrinagar police station of Jaipur, since then she is absconding.
Police uniform found in Mona’s room
After the fraud came to light, Mona’s rented room in Major Shautan Singh Colony in Shastri Nagar was searched on Thursday and Rs 7 lakh, three different uniforms, RPA internal exam papers and other documents were recovered from there. According to DCP (North) Rashi Doodi Dogra, Mona Bugalia alias Mooli is a resident of Nimba Ke Bas in Nagaur. Her father is a truck driver.
Took training in police academy in a fake manner
She was preparing for the sub-inspector recruitment exam. When she could not clear the exam, after 3 years when the result came, she spread the news on social media that she had been selected for the post of sub-inspector. After this, relatives and villagers also congratulated her for being selected for the post of sub-inspector. After this, she fraudulently trained as a sub-inspector (SI) in Rajasthan Police Academy (RPA).
Told himself as IB’s sub inspector
She used to stay in the RPA campus most of the time in uniform. She was training the police station in-charges by telling them that she was a candidate of the previous batch. Mona knew that sub-inspectors of many batches were training in the academy. She kept taking advantage of this confusion. Once when the SI undergoing training asked about Mona, she told him that she was a sub-inspector of the IB.
