Bharatpur : Due to the dilapidated and narrow road leading to village Nam via Nadbai-Dahra road, people have to face a lot of trouble in transportation. On Sunday, a canter truck loaded with powder packets went out of control in the potholes on the road. Due to this, the truck got stuck in a roadside pit and was saved from overturning. The driver succeeded in avoiding the accident with his wisdom.
Truck driver Harveer Singh told that he was going towards Alwar carrying goods in the name of village. While trying to give side to a vehicle coming from the front, his truck got stuck in the potholes on the roadside. The driver showed good judgment and controlled the truck, thereby averting a major accident.
The people of the village say that the condition of this road has been bad for a long time. There are potholes at many places on the road, due to which the drivers face a lot of trouble while commuting. The situation becomes worse especially during rains, as the risk of accidents increases due to filling of potholes with water. Apart from this, the width of the road is also very less, due to which the drivers have to move with difficulty. The villagers have demanded improvement of the road, so that they and the drivers can get relief.
