Pali : Police on Sunday arrested two accused in the case of beating an old man to death with sticks and crowbar in a fight over a land dispute three days ago in Chamdiyak Marg border of Pali Sojat police station area. Deputy Superintendent of Police Anil Saran said that Maina wife Budharam Ghanchi, a resident of Biladia Gate, Sojat, had reported that the land on Peetai Dhimdi in front of Purneshwardham in Sojat Chak Pratham is in the name of her husband. On Friday morning, her husband Budharam, who was carrying Patwar Halka and beating Dhimadi, had left early in the morning saying that he was going to the fields.
During the day, his son Rajuram called him and said that his father was not picking up the phone. When we went to the field, we saw her husband’s dead body lying in the field and a crowd of people had gathered. The report said that Kukaram son of Devaram Ghanchi, Mangalaram son of Leemaram and others, resident of Biladia Gate Sojat, attacked her elderly husband Budharam Ghanchi with sticks and stones and killed him. The police formed teams and arrested the accused, Mangalaram Baurana, son of Leemaram, resident of Biladia Gate, Sojat, and Kukaram, son of Devaram Ghanchi, resident of Biladia Gate, Sojat, who had absconded after killing an old man in broad daylight.
