Udaipur : Udaipur In the much talked about case of misappropriation of 272 vacant plots in colonies transferred from UDA, SOG arrested two accused including former Ward Panch in one case. The accused met some land mafia of the city and made a deal for the plot by submitting fake documents and fielding dummy candidates. Despite the presence of fake documents in the case, the transfer of name was opened in the corporation. In the investigation of the case, the officers and personnel of the corporation including the land mafia are being investigated. Apart from this case, there will be many arrests in cases of other conspiracies also. SOG’s ASP Swati Sharma said that Deepak son of Harisingh Chauhan, resident of Purohit’s Maddi UIT Colony and Rakesh son of Raiji Solanki, resident of Kalol Panchmahal Gujarat Hall Ambamata Scheme, were arrested in the case. Both the accused are currently in judicial custody. It is noteworthy that a series of news were published regarding demolition of vacant plots in the colonies transferred from UIT to the Corporation. Associate councilor Ajay Porwal had raised this in the board meeting of the corporation, after which separate cases were registered in Surajpol and Savina police stations. After the order of the state government, its investigation was handed over to SOG. Recently, after the issue was raised in the Assembly, arrests have started taking place.
Took 50 lakhs from the complainant
Purohitwadi Complainant Anil Kachauria, resident of Salumber, said that a case was registered at Savina police station. It was told that Rajendra Dhakad, along with the Municipal Corporation officers and personnel, made forged documents of plot number 546 in Sector-11, becoming the owner himself and got the plot registered in the name of him and his son. In return for the plot, he cheated by taking Rs 50 lakh 1 thousand.
Arrest in this case
SOG arrested both the accused in the case of plot number 546 located in Sector-11 area. The accused created a dummy person along with fake documents of the plot transferred to the corporation. After that, after getting the transfer done from the corporation, the plot was sold to Anil Kachauria. SOG took samples of the handwriting of accused Deepak in the lease deed issued in the case, which was tested by FSL and it was confirmed to be forgery. Similarly, the accused Rakesh Solanki brought a dummy candidate from Gujarat and manipulated his Aadhar card and other documents.
