Kota : Police have arrested two youths in a nearly one and a half month old case of fatal attack on a student of Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) in Kota. Among them there is also a second year B.Tech (Civil Engineering) student. Both the accused were absconding after the incident. RKpuram police station SHO Ajit Bagdolia said – In the case registered for attempt to murder, the accused are Niket Sarda (20) of Amba Colony, Kuchaman City district Didwana Nagaur and Harsh (18) resident of village Goth, police station Gadakheda district. Jhunjhunu Hall B.Tech second year RTU has been arrested. Both the accused were presented in the court, from where the court ordered to send them to jail in judicial custody till November 30.

The incident took place on the night of 29 September. Rahul, a second year B.Tech student of RTU, had given the complaint. It was told in the complaint that some students were harassing the junior students for 3-4 days. To counsel and talk to the second year students, I along with a friend went to the tea stall located at Hadi Rani Circle on 29th September at around 7.30 pm.
Was talking to second year students there. During that time he started abusing. My companion was attacked with kicks, sticks and sticks. He also beat me. My friend suffered serious injuries on his head and legs. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case against 6 students of RTU College on September 30.
