Two more crocodiles became victims of premature death in Kota

Kota : Kota Khedarsulpur. Two crocodiles died near the anicut on Chandraloi river in village Khedli Pandya on Sunday. Ladpura Range Regional Forest Officer Indresh Yadav said that villager Mahavir Meena informed the forest department after seeing the crocodiles dead. A medical board was formed and the post-mortem was conducted. According to the three medical boards, the cause of death could not be determined as the crocodiles’ bodies were two to three days old. Samples have been taken. Something will be said on the basis of laboratory investigation. It is noteworthy that on Saturday, a crocodile, whose age was 60 years, was found dead in Raipura Nala area. Tejendra Riad, doctor of Mukundara Hills Tiger Reserve, who was part of the post-mortem team, said that the age of the male crocodile was 9 years and the age of the female crocodile was seven years. In the team, Dr. Vilas Rao Gulhane, a doctor from the Forest Department’s Wildlife Branch, and Mahesh Meena, a doctor from the Veterinary Hospital, conducted the post-mortem. The bodies were later disposed of.
